An Innovation Zone is more than just a physical location no comments
I just finished reading an interesting overview for “The Innovation Zone” by Thomas Koulopoulos and was reminded that innovation requires more than just physical space, but also political and emotional space. In many ways it requires the same environment that my two year old requires to be at her most creative.
It takes all the will power I have to see the “horsey” on the wall of the study in bright bold crayon and utter remarks of encouragement rather than rebuke. I have grown up to understand that walls are not for drawing and find it bothersome that my two year old does not have the same perspective.
